The Kanev sugar factory is part of the Pokrovsky concern.
Concern “Pokrovsky” is one of the largest and most efficient agricultural producers in the country, the group of companies is among the top ten national leaders in terms of key production indicators:
1st place in efficiency per hectare: SovEcon
5th place in terms of land bank value among the largest agricultural producers in Russia: Forbes
6th place in sugar production: Rossahar
9th place – in milk production: Soyuzmoloko
The concern’s land bank amounted to 242 thousand hectares, while its value almost doubled over the year – from 36.3 billion to 67.8 billion rubles.
The group specializes in commercial grain and sugar beets. The Group’s gross harvest of agricultural products exceeded 2.5 million tons per year.
JSC “Kanevsksakhar” (Kanevsky district, Krasnodar Territory) was taken over by the Concern in 2013. It is one of the city-forming enterprises of the Kanevsky region and provides employment for more than 500 people.
A plant modernization program for 2016–2018 was completed, as a result of which the sugar beet processing capacity of the enterprise increased to 6,500 tons per day, and the production of granulated beet pulp increased to 300 tons per day. The volume of investments amounted to 1.5 billion rubles.
